I have 3D printed two of these and built custom PCB’s for the stepper controllers and custom shield for the Raspberry Pi. The stepper controllers are on the same data path as the Dynamixels and use the Dynamixel communication protocol 2.0 which is half-duplex UART.
I also am using the RealSense D4335 camera for object detection with the hope of being able to pick strawberries. The problem I’m having is using the Niryo ROS Stack and interfacing it with my stepper controllers. I even took Eduard’s Udemy class on ROS. Wish me luck!
