Once the arm is configured to connect to a local wifi is there a way to reset it back to hot spot mode if the wifi is no longer available?

Yes: you can press the top button for 7 consecutive seconds.

The LED will switch to purple after 3 seconds, don’t release now. The LED will then switch (7 seconds total) to blue, release now.

Wait a few seconds (10-20), the robot should be in hotspot mode again.

Other solution: you have a “Switch to Hostpot mode” button in Niryo One Studio, under the “Wifi Settings” tab.

Using remote “reset” does not clear Dynamixel or NiryoStepper error conditions (over temp, overload, etc.). The power switch must be manually cycled on the robot itself to clear these conditions.

Yes, the errors on the motors can only be reset when you reset the power. Resetting the robot with software only resets the Raspberry Pi from software.
