The Ned2/Ned3Pro robots are compatible with ROS Noetic, and a ROS2 bridge is available for integration with ROS2 Humble.

Programming

The Ned2/Ned3Pro can be controlled using Blockly, Python, ROS, Modbus or Matlab.

The Ned2/Ned3Pro have a TCP/IP server and a Modbus TCP/IP running by default.

There is a demo program pre installed in the Ned2. You just have to press the top button on the robot base to launch it.

The Ned2 comes with a 1-year warranty. However, you can purchase an extended warranty for an additional 12 or 24 months.

If you have any problem with your Ned2, you can contact the support team of Niryo. Its purpose is to help you use our products the best way possible and to answer any of your questions.

If your robot is still under warranty you will not have to pay for anything, Niryo will try to fix your robot for free. However you will have to pay if the warranty has ended.

We want to make sure you will have the best experience with your robot. In the case you want to send us your robot for repair, Niryo makes sure to fix it and send it back to you in under 2 weeks.

The Ned2 is not meant to be disassembled frequently. You need to have the support or sales team approval to modify or fix your robot by yourself. If you decide to do it by yourself, you have to know that this will end the warranty.

Expert+

Expert+ Pro offers personalized support with an in-depth analysis of your needs, technical integration advice and programming expertise to guarantee optimal deployment of your robot. 
The Customer Success Management service helps you take control of your robot through structured onboarding, regular follow-ups and educational resources for gradual skill development.

You choose the method of communication that suits you best: by email, telephone or videoconference.
Your dedicated Niryo expert will adapt to your preferences. The service consists of 16 hours of support that you can request for 1 year from subscription.

Regardless of the support option you choose, we promise to respond to all your requests within 24 hours.
