We carefully select components and technologies to minimize wear over time: harmonic transmission, field-oriented control (FOC) motor, and managed thermal loads.

Our actuators are tested and certified for an MTBF ≥ 20,000h, with full component traceability to simplify maintenance throughout the product’s life.

Warranty Extension

Conditions for subscribing to the guarantee and its extension.

The robots and accessories are sold with 1 year of manufacturer and publisher warranty which runs from the date of receipt of the robots shown on the delivery slip.

The maximum manufacturer’s warranty period is 36 months.

The customer can request an extension of 12 or 24 months from the initial purchase.

During the first year, until the 11th month completed (see delivery date), the customer may request an extension for a maximum of 24 additional months.

During the second year, until the 23rd month completed (see delivery date), the customer may request an extension for a maximum of 12 additional months.

Niryo reserves the right to refuse the customer an extension request during operation if it is judged that the latter was not suitable and could have led to degradation of the equipment and/or software.

Scope of the Manufacturer & Publisher warranty.

For all of its robots, Niryo includes 1 year of manufacturer and publisher warranty on :

  • The 6-axis arm
  • The conveyor


The guarantee covers :

  • Material damage upon receipt of the equipment
  • A hardware or software malfunction
  • Hardware or software performance not in compliance with technical data sheets
  • Deterioration of the equipment which is not linked to the use made
  • Inaccessibility of the software or platform

Means implemented & Exclusions.

The means implemented to resolve problems are at the discretion of Niryo and may include, but are not limited to :

  • Replacement of one or more parts
  • Replacement of complete equipment
  • Repair of parts in the workshop and their return
  • Implementing a workaround for the software
  • Remote maintenance and distribution of a corrective patch


Excluded from the manufacturer’s and publisher’s warranty :

  • Deliberate damage
  • Damage linked to poor maintenance of equipment
  • Damage linked to a modification of equipment that does not comply with what the technical documentation provides
  • For software, the use of technological and technical bricks not supported by Niryo
