Who is this pack designed for ?

Key benefits of this pack

By taking a broader approach to automation—focusing not only on the robot, but on the entire connected ecosystem—the Automation Pack helps students develop a genuine understanding of industrial automation.

The included I/O Adapter provides a fast and straightforward way to connect the robot to your PLC or other 24 V industrial equipment. Likewise, the Conveyor I/O Module enables you to control the conveyor directly from your programmable logic controller.

With its wide range of equipment and teaching resources—including PLC tutorials and a 35-hour curriculum covering the fundamentals of automation, programming, and robotics applications—the Automation Pack supports a broad variety of robotics topics. It offers a clear learning pathway, from an introduction to robotics with the Ned2 robot, through programming and motion control, to more advanced scenarios in which the robot is integrated into a PLC-controlled workflow.

With its rich, modular ecosystem and compatibility with your existing equipment—including PLCs and sensors—the Automation Pack is a powerful addition to any robotics and automation program.
